  • Lately, I have been having pain again.  I am quite sure that the doctors don't know what it is.  They all have different answers.  One thinks it has to do with my overies, the next one thinks it is diverticulitis.  I always try to keep up with the updates on  Scleroderma and what caught my eye is something that I knew but did not take into consideration.  I believe that I have a build up of the calsinosis in one of the diverticuli sacs.  This would cause the one doctor to believe it is diverticulitis.  I will soon find out and then we will decide on the surgery.  I can't let this continue growing because it is attached to my colin.

Today, the rain is coming down so fast and hard that we are starting to have flooding around the area.  I can't imagine where all the water is going to go.  As long as there is no more snow!!!!

  • Home Again

I loved being in Arizonia but am so glad to be home again.   I don't know how people can travel back and forth all the time.  It is not the life for me.   I am a home body - I love my family and love the time I spend with them.  I am very comfortable.  It was wonderful to see my friends and especially Pat, Connies Mom - I spent so much time at their home and enjoyd remembering the past.

Connie shocked me with her diaries.  They were full of our daily life from 6,7 and 8th grade.  You think life was simple?  Hardly,  we had just as much stress back then.  It was a shocker and made me remember some things that I had forgotten.

Just got off the phone with Connie, the girls miss us already.  Tressa got two stuffed puppies and named them Wendy and Inga.  Isn't that cute?

  • Xanga sure has changed

For those of you have not seen my update on Facebook

I am in Arizona with my grade school friend and enjoying the semi-warm weather.  Last night it dropped into the 30's and I had to turn the heat up to stay warm.  Good thing I brought warm clothes.  The scenery is beautiful, pictures don't do it justice.  I expected it to be dry and dusty but the warm sun and cool breeze has been great.

I have added a few pictures of my trip.

  • Wow, haven't been on since this changed...

had a hard time finding out how to do this.

Update:  I am doing better.  Still have moments of being overtired.  I have refused the surgery's and going to just try treatments.  I get moody and tired.  But for the most part, can handle it.  Next week, I start with shots in my back for the pain.  That should clear up the headaches too.  The gut pain comes and goes but I am not going to have the surgery unless absolutely necessary.  Continue to pray for NIU, our neighbors son was there but outside the building seeing everyone running out.

  • Here is my update...I woke a couple of days ago and my legs were in such pain.  I don't have feeling in my legs from the knee down.  This was causing electrical shocks.  Then yesterday, I felt like I had done 100 crunches, my stomach was so sore.  Not sure what is happening but I don't want to leave the house, I don't want do anything.  I am so tired.  I will be calling the doctors tomorrow and see if more tests can be done.  I can't stay like this, it had been almost 3 months now.  It is hard on my mom - God bless her - she is my rock.  And Mitch had been great, but I am sure this is hard on him too.  I will keep you posted.
